The Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre offers informative exhibits and guided walks to help you explore the area's rich geological history. With two pubs, a cafe and a fish and chip shop there is plenty of options for a lovely meal once you've finished exploring. Charmouth provides a perfect opportunity for outdoor adventure and relaxation.

Head west to Seaton, where you can enjoy stony beaches and the serene Seaton Wetlands—an idyllic spot for nature enthusiasts. A little further along the coast, Sidmouth offers scenic beaches, delightful shopping, and the heartwarming Donkey Sanctuary. For a glimpse of charming coastal villages, make your way to Beer and Branscombe, where you can explore the captivating Beer Quarry Caves.
In the opposite direction, a 25-minute drive takes you to Abbotsbury, home to the renowned Swannery and enchanting subtropical gardens. Continue on to Weymouth for its sweeping esplanade beach, the impressive Sandworld Sculpture Park, and the family-friendly Weymouth Sea Life for an enjoyable day out.

South West Coast Path: This long-distance footpath offers breathtaking views and
connects Lyme Regis and Charmouth. The section from Lyme Regis to Golden Cap is
particularly scenic.
Golden Cap: The highest point on England’s south coast, offering panoramic views of the coastline.
Water Sports

The Rock Point – A warm welcoming atmosphere with a lovely food menu with a wide variety of options. - 01297 443153.
The Harbour Inn – A pub with a restaurant feel, right on the seafront with outside seating available. Great seafood specials. – 01297 442299
The Standard – 400-year-old pub on the seafront with a good beer garden, protected from the seagulls! Good traditional pub food also with Greek options. – 01297 442637

Largigi Thai Restaurant – Delicious traditional Thai food. Indoor or outdoor seating right on the marine parade. 01297 442432
Poco – A lovely pizza place with a friendly atmosphere. Serving thin based authentic wood fired pizza. To be enjoyed while looking at the beautiful sea views from either their outside balcony or inside seating. – 01297 598591.
Rockfish - On the hillside in Lister gardens offering spectacular panoramic views. Rockfish offers the freshest seafood, landed daily at Brixham Market, hand-selected and filleted by their expert team at the quayside, then delivered to the restaurant in time for lunch.
